Additional indoor venue providing extra court time for our growing membership base.

Outdoor courts open all summer. Located just west of the Access Communication Centre, North Battleford.

Evening drop-in sessions 7:00–9:00 PM in Battleford. A great option for those who prefer evening play.

Drop-in sessions continue Monday–Friday at NationsWest Field House (9:00 AM–Noon and 1:00–3:00 PM). Evening sessions at Alex Dillabough Center, Battleford (7:00–9:00 PM).

No-Slam League

No-Slam League

A fun and inclusive league format designed for recreational players who enjoy competitive but friendly play.

What is the No-Slam League?

The No-Slam League is designed for players who want to enjoy competitive play in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The "no-slam" rule promotes longer rallies and a more social game experience — perfect for all skill levels!

This format is especially popular with social-level players who want to enjoy the competitive aspect of pickleball without the intensity of high-power shots. It keeps the rallies going and maximizes fun on the court.

League details including registration, schedules, and standings are communicated to members via the club website and our Facebook group. If you're interested in participating, contact us for current information.

Recreational competitive league with no overhead slams — longer rallies, more fun!

📊 Skill Levels

Open to all skill levels. A great way to improve your game and meet other players.

Membership is $32 + $2.17 transaction fee per year — providing you membership in Pickleball Canada, Pickleball Saskatchewan, and Battlefords Pickleball Club.

How to Register

  1. Go to the Pickleball Canada website at www.pickleballcanada.org

  2. Click on JOIN

  3. On the JOIN-RENEW page, select "Saskatchewan" then select "Battlefords Pickleball Club"

  4. You will arrive at the Battlefords Pickleball Club page. Select "Registration Opened"

  5. Complete your profile — Rivers West is our Saskatchewan Sports District

  6. Read and agree to the waiver

  7. At the bottom of the page click on proceed to next step to go to payment info

  8. Complete and submit — a receipt will be generated

Whether you're brand new to pickleball or looking to level up your game, we have programs designed for you.

Beginner / Skill Development Clinic

Comprehensive on-court training led by experienced players

$100 per person

Our clinics cover everything from basic rules and scoring to proper technique, court positioning, and strategy. Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to fix bad habits, our instructors will help you improve.

2026 Karen Williams Memorial Tournament — A Success!  April 28, 2026

The Battlefords Pickleball Club's annual spring tournament in memorial of Karen Williams was held at the nationsWEST Field House. Teams from across the province attended, including players from Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Lloydminster. "Very successful tournament, no issues at all," said tournament director Brad Wuitchik. "Had a great group of volunteers, as always, and the players were amazing." The skill level on display was impressive, particularly in the advanced divisions on Sunday afternoon. Spectators are welcome — attendance is completely free!

Surplus Funds from 2024 SSFA 55+ Provincial Games  April 30, 2025

The Battlefords Pickleball Club received an injection of funds from surplus money generated by the 2024 Saskatchewan Seniors' and Fitness Association 55+ Provincial Games. These funds are earmarked for upgrades to club equipment and training resources, helping take our programs to the next level.

Outdoor Courts Open for Summer

The outdoor pickleball courts at Centennial Park are open for the summer season. Courts are located just west of the Access Communication Centre. Members may access the nets stored in the locked box on site. Enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while playing your favourite sport!
